Color Manila Run Year 4 @ SM Mall Of Asia

January 3, 2016

It's so easy to say that this is one great way to kick off the new year. This blog is never the go-to place if you're looking for facts about the events and/or places I attend and visit. So, you will not read anything about when the event originated, how many runners there are, or how many sacks of colored flour the organizers spent for the event. Heh!

What I can tell you is this: #ColorManilaRun Rocks! And I want all of my friends to experience it even once. Why, you may ask? I say look at the photos and let each of them speak to you. :)

We registered for the 3k race. At the dawn of the race, a fire truck, complete with a full tank of water, hose, and firemen came into view. They're assigned to get the runners wet before they go wild. Sounds exciting yet? Haha!

Second stop: Green! (First was Blue but we didn't take any photos)

After Green came Purple. I'll tell you a little secret. After Green, we were told to take the U-Turn and  we were like, "What? That's 3 kilometers already? The organizers are definitely kidding. We passed on the joke and forward we march. :P

Here you can see people lying down on the colored-flour-covered ground to take photos.

We joined in, of course! :)

Love how it highlighted my hair color. :P

It's a Fun Run? Oh, we'd rather walk. :P

Yellow! :)

And then we shall turn Right. Right! :)

Last: Pink! Me likey! :)

Ber and I. This time, it's evident that we, indeed, got dirty. :)

With the Pink people. :)

And FINISH!! Hoorah!

With Barbie and Jared after the race. They were actually with us at the start of the race but mutually decided to walk our separate ways. Haha! (They wish to run while Ber and I are firm on walking the whole race out. :P)

How else can one get this colorfully dirty? Haha! I told you it was fun! :)

See you next year!
